Not what it will do: what it does. Sources, channels, answer pages, the MCP server and AppGlue — below is the product exactly as it is today.
Markdown notes sync in full, except the paths you exclude (ignore list and denylist). Documents — PDF, Office and the other formats — sync only from the folders you choose. Syncing stays active in the background.
A standalone client for anyone who does not use Obsidian: same archive, same indexing, same sources cited in the answers.
For everything else: a direct upload from the panel, in the same 32 formats the plugin and the client read.
PDF, Word/Excel/PowerPoint, OpenDocument, EML/MSG email, EPUB, FatturaPA/XML and images: 32 formats in total, in the same indexed archive.
The text inside a photo or a scan is read locally: no external vision model ever receives the image.
Web chat, Telegram (groups included), or WhatsApp — on CloudBrain's number with OTP, or on your own if you connect it with BYON.
Long answers — tables, documents — arrive as a web page with a link. The link lasts 24 hours, then the page is deleted.
Model Context Protocol with OAuth authentication: Claude and other compatible agents query your CloudBrain with the same sources cited.
API, webhooks and MCP toward the channels you already use — with no separate connector for each.
A second brain that reads your notes has to answer three questions before any feature: who else can see them, what happens if a secret ends up in there by mistake, and how you take them away if you change your mind.
Isolation happens at the row level (RLS) on the notes and documents tables: a query does not cross from one tenant to another.
A path denylist and a filter on recognised content act before indexing, not after.
The export is downloadable for 48 hours. Deleting the account leaves seven days to change your mind, then it is final. On the Business and Team plans, a consultation log.
“Notes matter when you are not at your computer. Everything else is just where you keep them.”
32 formats: PDF, Word/Excel/PowerPoint, OpenDocument, email (EML/MSG), EPUB, FatturaPA/XML and images. From the Obsidian plugin, the desktop client, or an upload in the panel.
It runs locally: it reads the text inside the image without sending it to an external vision model. No description of the content, just the text it contains.
Model Context Protocol with OAuth authentication: Claude and other compatible agents can query your CloudBrain as one more tool, with the same sources cited.
API, webhooks and MCP toward the channels you already use, with no separate connector for each.
They are reachable by anyone with the link, for a limited time — the link lasts 24 hours, then the page is deleted. They are not indexed.
On the Business and Team plans, yes: a log of every consultation, for teams that need to account for a shared archive.
Web and Telegram work right away. WhatsApp only needs your number connected.
